Mentors share their real-world experience in engineering, business, computer science, electronics, fabrication, project management, marketing, and more with students! We have the rare opportunity to get hands-on training in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). FIRST participants are 50% more likely to attend college, twice as likely to major in science and engineering, and 70% more likely to volunteer in their communities. Robotics teams are awesome, but expensive! We need to raise an average of $50,000 every year to fund our team. Competition entry fees cost $3000 each (we go to at least 3). However, we still need funding for safety equipment, tools, computers, raw materials, uniforms, and travel expenses. We also provide scholarships to members of our team who cannot afford to pay to attend events. Any amount, even $25 would be more than helpful. We also accept donations of goods and services. If your employer has a matching funds program, please be sure to tell them that you donated money to the Issaquah Robotics Society so that we can get the matching funds.
The Issaquah Robotics Society would like to thank our sponsors*:
