2005 - Triple Play
Triple Play is the 2005 FIRST Robotics Competition game. The game is played on a field with large triangular goals in three rows of three. The game is played with tetrahedral shaped objects known as "tetras". Points are scored by placing tetras on top of goals and making rows across the goals. During the autonomous period, robots can knock tetras away from corner goals or put the special "vision" tetras on top of goals. While robots are placing tetras, opposing robots can play defense against them. Teams get bonus points for ending the match with all three robots in the end zone.
