2024 - Crescendo

FIRST Robotics CRESCENDO was the 2024 FRC game. It involved two alliances of three teams each, with each team controlling a robot and performing specific tasks on a field to score points. The game centered around a music- related theme involving teams competing to shoot rubber rings, referred to as notes, into Speaker and Amp slots. Near the end of each match, teams would race back to their side to climb onto chains to completely finish the game.

Robot Features

  • Arm + Wrist joints in order to maximize possible angles that enable us to score all elements of the game.

  • All-in one intake/shooter system that centralizes game-piece scoring, striking a balance between simplicity and function.

  • Advanced inverse-kinematics system that regulates our robot’s extension limits, allowing us to stay within the mandated distances.

  • Gravity compensation systems that account for many factors within our robot, ensuring that our wrist is always at the correct angle.

  • T-Rex arm climber that ensures solid, constrained movement as the robot climbs into the chain.
